Dr. Karen Stufflebeam is a licensed clinical psychologist (LP) and health service provider (HSP) in Massachusetts and New York who provides evidenced-based treatment to those looking to make a change in their life. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, and personality disorders. Her goal-oriented treatment approach helps clients work towards symptom relief, improved relationships, and a wider variety of coping skills.
Dr. Stufflebeam’s approach has been described as genuine and thoughtful while creating a space that is warm and judgement-free. Dr. Stufflebeam draws on her expertise while also building on the strengths of her clients in order to assist clients in moving towards accomplishing their goals.
Dr. Karen Stufflebeam primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Exposure & Response Prevention (ER-P) therapy. Dr. Stufflebeam also incorporates Psychoanalytic Therapy to help clients get to the root of their symptoms and discover how past experiences influence current behavior.
